WordPress Portfolio Concept

WordPress Portfolio – WPESP Theme es un Tema “minimalista”, basado en la idea del portfolio creado por DAILYWP. El objetivo del Theme es que se pueda utilizar como punto de partida para crear portfolios, utilizando WordPress como CMS. En este pequeño tutorial se explican algunas de las pautas seguidas en el diseño, los Codex de WordPress usados, donde también se explican los Custom Write Panel credos para editar el contenido, y las adaptaciones realizadas al script Coda Slider Effect, creado por jQuery for Designers, para que se modifiquen según las necesidades de aquellos que utilicen el Theme.

Nota: Los trabajos añadidos al portfolio no son propios, está sacados de minimalsites.com.

1- Es factible habilitar los comentarios y pinks en los trabajos desde el panel de WordPress o hay que añadir código adicional?
2- ¿Es factible cambiar la proporción de las imaganes en portada de horizontal a vertical?

1- Hay que añadir código adicional. Es muy fácil.
2- Tendrás que modificar el CSS también.

I am ambitious about creating my portfolio site using wordpress. I love this template and would like to work with it. I am brand new to using wordpress and themes and am a bit stuck. I made it as far to upload the template to my page, but i am not that familiar with PHP. Can I customize in wordpress, or do I do it in the code? Basically wondering how customize the site and also make th elinks for about and content active because they don’t work. This may seem like stupid questions, but any advice/help you can give would be MUCH appreciated!

hello!
I love this portfolio theme and would like to use it for my grafic design portfolio. But if I install it, the “about” and the “contact” site don´t work. I´m not a programmer and I work like “try and error”,so I don´t really know what to do. I know that I have to create a “work” categorie to view new artikels, but I have no idea why “contact” and “about” don´t work, or where I can edit them and give them my data????? I allready tried the german and english wordpress installation, I installed the cform plugin and read your installation site, but I give up! (after 2 days and 37° temperature in vienna ;-))
Could you give me a hint? Would be very nice!

I love this design, I wish it fit better with my current photography blog. Would you ever consider adding a blog/comments code to this so it could function as a portfolio and blog?
